In the beginning, there was “darkness.”
Then, the “darkness” shed a “tear.”
From that “tear,” the brothers Sword and Shield were born.
Shield claimed it could defend against any attack.
Sword claimed it could slice through anything.
The brothers began a legendary battle.
At the end, both Sword and Shield shattered.
Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and the sparks from the battle became the stars.
As for the jewels, they fell to the ground and became the True Runes—The runes that all other runes were born from.
Making shadow art is addicted, so I try t make it again—The History of 27 True Runes version.
And don’t ask me why the Rune of Beginning Brothers kind of like Sasarai and Luc. I swear it’s accidental.
If you aren’t flooded with requests, could I ask you to draw Lekaat (either incarnation, they all look the same) with the Gate Rune glowing on her chest?
I ended up just drawing Leknaat, and spending a lot longer on it than I thought I would. Limited palettes are kind of fun.
(And don’t worry about flooding me with requests; I got a grand total of three (3)! Requests’re still open; send them to the skootart inbox, ideally, since I try to keep that the op for my art posts, but I’d still get them on my personal.)
